 Best Gift Fore Myself!
I am a new Episcopalian & this Bible was the best gift I could have gotten for myself.
I love the articles on our Traditions & how they relate to Scripture. I also enjoy the daily lectionary at the back, so I can follow along with the Church Year in my daily reading & prayer life. The meditations are short & to the point.
I highly recommend this Bible for any Catholic/Anglican woman.
 If You Can See The Print
It is a wonderful book with lots of great side stories. It also has the calendar of Church readings so you can follow along with the liturgical year. My only complaint is the small size of the print. I must wear my glasses to read it and even then it is difficult.
 Lovely Devotional for the Catholic Soul
This is a lovely book; broken up with small meditations after certain passages. For someone who is trying to center herself, participate in a more active form of prayer, or to be generally more spiritual, I feel this is a nice tool. You don't necessarily need to be Catholic to appreciate its message, but as a Catholic I was excited to see a book that had more to study than the written message. As a woman who was raised in a parochial school with certain "God-Given-Abilities," I was eager to become engrossed in these pages to search for something more. While I didn't quite find what I was looking for, I did find a wonderful devotional filled with daily guidance and meditation, that when performed daily, might attach you to another spiritual level.
On a side note: I was genuinely impressed that I was able to find a daily prayer/meditation bible that was based in Catholicism, yet allowed me freedom in my beliefs (because sometimes meditation and prayer are thought to be a contradiction by some people of the faith).
Excellent resource
The blend of lessons and meditations interspersed with the biblical content makes this a very approachable text. I purchased this book for my mom who liked it so much I purchased a copy for myself. Definitely an excellent resource for any woman wanting to explore more of the bible from a woman's perspective.
