 Insight into the mind of an interesting man
DO buy this book if you are interested in reading the mind of a man who has had a remarkable journey. Do NOT buy this book if you are looking for a guide to the beliefs of some new sect called Muslims for Jesus. You will be disappointed as this is not what the book is about. The author is a Minister Louis "Farrakhan Muslim" who recognises the importance of Jesus not just in islam but in the world. The book will shatter any preconceived ideas about what might go on in the mind of such a muslim if one were to see one walking down the street. But it is not about muslims in general nor is is about Islam. It is the scribbling down on paper of the ecclectic mind of a man, an individual like everyone else, but one who who is sick and tired to death of being judged by others who have not taken the time to get to know him. You will be surprised to see what aspects of Christianity this man finds most relevant to his and our lives and at the end of the book you will certainly not be inclined to hazzard a guess at what could be going on in the mind of an African American muslim before you stop to talk to him. A thouroughly charming book by a real person without any attempt to package or re-present according to the standards of conventional wisdom.

This book was a very curious find, I don't quite understand how one can call themselves a Muslim, yet accept Jesus as Lord, since Muslims and the Koran Deny Jesus' Divinity and Crucifixion/Resurrection ...
However, if you enjoy interesting reads, I would recommend this book, as well as it's companion, "I'm a Muslim and Pork is Delicious: Muslims for Mo' Ham Ed. - More Ham Education" ...
